This property forms one half of a villa style detached house dating from the 1850's. Our client asked us to reorganise the interior of the house to create a family home and a light contemporary setting for their collection of modern art.London

The house contained a number of small rooms and cramped corridors, and a small staircase. We proposed a new staircase throughout the house and reorganised the size and positions of rooms on each floor to create larger, more spacious areas in which to live. The interior of the house was designed with the active involvement of the client, and incorporates the use of high quality materials in a simple manner.
An existing 1980's kitchen extension was taken down and replaced with a new extension more in keeping with the exterior of the main house
A brand new garden has been designed by Simon Johnson and is currently being constructed.
