Connecticut Residence
This new house on a greenfield hilltop site in Connecticut, USA, is due for completion in 2006. The plan, incorporating staff quarters, landscaped gardens and outbuildings was developed to capture the magnificent views. The house wraps around the hilltop allowing all the principal rooms to enjoy the views and its southerly, easterly and westerly aspects take advantage of the sun from sunrise to sunset. Constructed in timber and clad in cedar shingles and cedar boarding with a natural slate roof.
